Any recommendations for a break in the UK around NY please for family of 4. I wondered about Aviemore or something but have never been. Or where else might work well. This year yet again we are stuck in the house our friends who had children younger are off out partying and to put the tin lid on it MIL has also invited herself up to us so we are going out for a meal she has booked at 5.30 so home by 8 as they want the table and will end up all squashed up on the sofa with rubbish TV I may well be in bed by 10. Don’t want a repeat of this next year.
