Family holiday recommendation for next summer

I’m looking for inspiration for our next holiday but can’t find anywhere that leaps out at me.
It’ll be me and DD5 and possibly another adult.
We need to be able to travel there by coach or train from the north east.
We’ve already been to Scarborough, Blackpool and Skegness as well as trips to flamingo land, light water valley, Alton towers and west midland safari park.
I’ve also got a day trip to Chester zoo booked for end of August.
I was planning on staying in Southampton for a few days and going to Paultons Park but it’s over a 6 hour train journey and going to cost around a £1000 so just wondering if there’s any better options.

North Wales is good by train from north England. Peppa pig world is amazing, but that's such a long way for you. Do you want a city break, caravan park, farm, apartment?

Don’t really know what I’m looking for, just something that I can say wow DD would love that
We’ve done butlins so probably not a holiday camp or caravan type break
I want somewhere that’s mostly going to appeal to DD though, she’s done so well so far this year starting school and I want her to have an amazing treat to look forward to

In the summer you could go to the Isle of Wight? It does have train links once you get off the ferry and bus but you for the best experience a car would be best.

Birmingham. There's easily a week's worth of good days out.
Cadbury World is easily accessible by public transport from the city centre. There's a train from Birmingham to Cadbury World every 15 minutes. The journey takes 12 min. Alternatively, NX West Midlands operates a bus to Cadbury World every 10 minutes, and the journey is 20mins.
Drayton Manor is also a great day out. Arriva Midlands operates a bus from Birmingham Coach Station to the park every 30 minutes. Tickets cost £2 and the journey takes just under an hour. Alternatively, there's a train from Birmingham Coach Station hourly. Tickets cost £21-£35 and the journey takes 15 minutes.
Another good day trip is Warwick Castle. Trains from Birmingham Moor Street take half an hour. The castle is about a mile from the station, so well within walking distance. There are also taxis available from the station forecourt.
Birmingham also has a Legoland Discovery Centre and an aquarium (you can get a combi ticket which covers both of these attractions), and you could easily spend a whole day at the amazing ThinkTank science centre. It's one of the best in the country and easy to reach by public transport.

Ooh brilliant thanks, we’ve done Cadbury world as part of a coach trip but not been to any of the others. I know DD would love Drayton manor especially but she’d probably really like the aquarium and legoland discovery too.
Are there any other zoos/safari parks that are easily accessible and worth doing?

Southwold in Suffolk is beautiful and a lovely place for children. Simple family fun. Wells Next to the Sea is also great. Lots of National Trust places are nearby plus BeWILDerwood and Holkham.

North Norfolk is beautiful. Our DC loved BeWilerwood when they were small.
