Glasgow - Where to eat with kids near Buchanan centre...

other than Wagamamas? We've been there the last couple of times we have been shopping in Glasgow and fancy somewhere different but child friendly. Any ideas?

How far away do you want to be?

Down the hill in Princes Square there are a few restaurants in the basement, with a big circular area which kids run around in... we like Darcy's, but there are a couple more Italian places as well.

China buffet king behind buchannan street - mitchell street I think?

TGI Fridays on the corner of Buchanun St and Gordon Street. La Tasca on Renfield Street. Dinos just outside Buchanun Galleries on Sauchiehall Street - haven't been there for ages but remembering their pizza very fondly - they have a restaurant and a cafe, so would recommend the cafe area with children.

OO'Sole Mio also nearby. Lovely little Italian place, very freindly. Do the usual half portions of pasta or half pizzas for kids. They also let my DD stand up on a chair and roll out a pizza base at the kitchen counter and let her watch the wood burning pizza oven in use, she loved all the fussing.

Can also vouch for China Buffet King, altho didn't go with children, but selection was fantastic

Tried similar restaurants nearby but the China Buffet King is the best of its kind.
