No but I've used classic.co.uk as they have a brilliant search on their website.

Searched and searched and just found it! Haven't been but this looks fab

TheBlonde · 16/06/2007 15:11

www.harbourholidays.co.uk has a couple of bigger places

franch · 16/06/2007 16:08

Thanks for all the links! Will do some searches. Have used classic Bella (this year and last) - couldn't find anything quite right in the brochure but will def search the site. They are excellent.

WWW were you linking to a specific house? Your link just took me to the breakwater homepage - ?

Blonde have you used those companies?

Should have said by the way - needs to have a garden and be safe for toddlers

Thanks

Hi Franch

Yes we are using Harbour Holidays this year. Went to the same cottage 2 years back so hopefully it is just as nice - smaller than you need though.
It had white company linen and portmerion (sp?) china!
I think some of their lesser star properties aren't as good though

We haven't used John Bray for years as we tend to stay Padstow side. He does seem to have the monopoly for Rock and there are lots of large houses there.

tiredemma · 16/06/2007 19:13

we have booked with harbour holidays for this august to padstow.

Cartwheel holidays do child friendly cottages in Devon and Cornwall.

Thanks all - am having a good search - some of the sites are easier than others ...

We stayed in Bude 2 years ago in early July. The house was lovely and we had a fab night where a chef came and cooked for us all. The house was Crooklets View and the company was breakwater holidays.

Just saw your message about a garden. This just had a courtyard at front but there was a huge grassy area just in front. We went with two toddlers and spent most of the time on the beach (which you can see from the window and is a 4 min walk). we wanted Chyvarton as it had a garden but you compromise with the distance from the beach.
