We're off on a long weekend from London. We're flying so will be relying on public transport in Glasgow. We've planned the science centre and a city bus tour weather permitting but all other ideas welcome please.

Scotland Street School Museum is really interactive. My DC enjoyed trying on school uniforms from different eras, writing on wax tablets and seeing how the classrooms have changed.

Sharmanka Kinetic Theatre is an amazing place to visit.

The Scottish Football Museum is also great fun, even if you don't particularly like football! On the stadium tour, you get to visit the underground roadway, team changing rooms, strike a ball in the Hampden Hotshots gallery and have the speed of your shot electronically measured. Walk down the tunnel, and then climb the stairs to the cup presentation area.

Definitely go to Black Vanilla cafe and D'Arcys to eat.
