Where to stay near to Ipswich

Hi,

We're treating our 3 children (and ourselves!) to a trip to see Ed Sheeran in concert in Ipswich next August.

It makes sense to stay in the area for a week and head to the concert for the 2nd day of our holiday.

We've holidayed a lot in the Norfolk area but only once to Southwold in the Suffolk area and the children were disappointed by the brown sea (😂) so are looking for recommendations in the area.

I've been looking at Aldburgh but any more advice/local knowledge would be fab.

Thanks in advance Smile

Bucks Farm is not too far from the coast. It's a 50 minute drive from Ipswich but you could take the train from nearby Halesworth instead. It's also near to Framlingham, Ed Sheerhan's home town and a few good days out such as Africa Alive and Pleasurewood Hills. Bucks Farm has an indoor pool, a well stocked games room, animals to help feed, and lots of space to play outdoors.

Woodbridge is just outside Ipswich and is lovely, lots of nice self catering places.
