Been everywhere (nearly) but Pontins (eg Haven, Butlins, Park Resorts etc) but never done Pontins.

What is the general global concensus please? Because Mumsnet IS "the world" obviously!

I hated Haven so if it is like that, no

Went to the Brean one last year and can't say I was impressed tbh. The accomodation was extremely basic and very cheap and the site was quite tatty in general. Wouldn't go again.

never done Pontins. Have visited Butlins on a day visit and that put me off staying - dirty nappies left on the floor of the changing area.

well, i aggree, quite tatty, accomadation basic etc but, it's smaller than Butlins and my kids LOVED it because i could let them go and do things by themselves and they loved the evening entertainment.

they could do with having a few more interesting things to do during the day but, when we worked out the cost for a hotel it wasn't much different, so having crazy golf and go carts and stuff to see at night swung it really.

we are going back for a weekend and thinking of going to centre parks later in the year.
