Please can you suggest any nice days out in Norfolk with a 10 year old. We like the beach at Wells but want to know if any day trips are worth doing. Thanks.

You can see the seals at Blakeney point.
Holkham Hall was good too

Could you go to the Holt to Sheringham steam railway?

Do you like nature there is an amazing nature reserve between wells and burnham market which was really good had a massive indoor and outdoor playground included in the price.

Crabbing at Blakeley, buy fish heads as bait from the fishmonger.
There is a go ape towards Norwich.
My girls loved the pleasure beach at Yarmouth this year, cheaper wristband if you go after 5pm.

They also really loved hiring a boat and pottering about on the broads, wroxham tends to have the best prices.

Holkham Beach - seven miles of sandy beach.
As mentioned, seals.
Wells to Walsingham railway.
Crab fishing at Wells.

National Trust places - Sheringham Park, Felbrigg, Blickling
Fossil hunting at Old Hunstanton
Norwich Castle Museum
Time & Tide Museum in GY
Pensthorpe nature reserve
Gressenhall workhouse museum (more fun than it sounds)
