Any UK holiday park/lodge Recommendations Please?

We are hoping to get away to the coast for a week in October, dates can be flexible at present and I wondered if anyone could recommend somewhere they had stayed which might suit us.

We've never been to a holiday park before, my ideal holiday would be the middle of nowhere with a sea view and a book to read, but think we need somewhere with indoor swimming pool and things to do to entertain a three year old if we have a week of rain!

We would like:
-Near to beach, open to anywhere in England or Wales, would love
Scotland but just too far to travel this year.
-Must be dog friendly, dog has to come with us.
-Swimming pool, other play areas a bonus
-Would prefer holiday lodge but realise the dog may limit our options!
-Not really keen on evening activities, entertainments etc.

Can anyone think of somewhere they've seen or stayed at that might fit the bill please?

Sea view caravan park near Prestatyn. Up on a hill, fab views and you get to use the facilities at talacre beach park without having the hustle of the main park.

we always stayed at Wringworthy cottages near Looe when ours were little. its a small group of stone cottages on a lovely quiet site but near to lots of places in Cornwall and Devon. Its not right down the bottom of Cornwall - about half an hour from Plymouth and they take dogs and have an indoor childrens playbarn with lots of toys and things in. They have a pool but its outdoor so might not be open in October. www.wringworthy.co.uk

Thank you all, have had a quick glance and they all look promising so I'm going to work my way through these properly now.

oh we stayed in the retallackresort.co.uk/ in cornwall and absolutely loved it. the kids enjoyed it...there are several play areas around the resort and it is very dog friendly...they also loved the indoor pool. would definitely reccommend.

Can really recommend Parkdean holidays in croyde, north Devon. They have nice chalets right behind the beach and cheaper static caravans. Plus cascades indoor pool which every child loves (adults not so much!!)
