Halfway between Bath and London?

Anyone able to suggest somewhere I can meet up with my friend for a day one weekend? Between us we have 4 boys, aged between 4 and 1.

She has moved to Bath to work on her organic lentil weaving technique so somewhere not TOO commerical would be best.

Bowood House. Sorry don't have the link but it is google-able. Fabulous adventure playground and soft play area. Lovely place for a picnic and runaround for the kids.

Bowood is nice, I agree. Lots of open space etc. And Chippenham is about half way.
