Holiday in UK, need some advice please.

Hi. We want to go away this year with our 2 DD's aged 4yrs and 9 months. Originally we wanted to go to Disney paris or on a cruise but we cant find a cruise which suits us. We will only have about 2 weeks notice from when we book it to when we go.

I would like to go to CP but we wont go until end of July, august time and the prices are ridiculus! (£2000) for 7 nights! Would rather spend the money on something else but don't know what. Getting a cottage somewhere or another holiday park?

Can anyone give me some recommendations please, maybe we would venture to france. Thanks.

Why not go to France (in the same region as Disney Paris) and then go there for a day/2 days with a day pass during your holiday?
There are some lovely Key Camp sites with mobile homes throughout France or hire a gite through one of the gite companies (Gites de France for example).

My kids like beachs (doesn't have to be hot just not raining) and parks.

All our family holidays have been a cottage in Scotland or Lake District.

We go to the beach, Put them in back packs and go for walks and go to the park a lot.

We try to buy nice food every day to cook and eat in cottage (plus wine and beer).

Find a friendly cafe or pub for rainy day lunch or tea.
