Best UK holiday with younger teens?

Just wondering if others would mind sharing UK based holidays that have worked really well with younger teens (thinking about next year when ours will be 15 and 13)?

We've just had a great 2 weeks away in Austria which was a mixture of sightseeing and visitor attractions (trips to Innsbruck and Salzburg and things like visiting ice caves and glacier), some hiking and some more active things (toboggan runs, cycling, high ropes) plus lots and lots of swimming (lake + outdoor pool).

We want to stay in the UK next year and trying to find the same sort of mix ... though open to other ideas ... am I looking for the impossible?

We stayed in the Peak District for a week with my DB and his family.
Here are the links for some of the companies and activities we did:

We also went to Chatsworth House, Tatton Park and Alton Towers.

Your holiday in Austria sounds amazing! Would love something like that but worried my 7 year old Argyll bit too young.

We're just back from Cornwall which I love. It is busy in school holidays but if you choose your areas/activate carefully it's amazing how you can escape the crowds...we've often had beautiful beaches to ourselves at the height of summer.

"Still a bit young", should read Smile

Scotland? Around Aviemore and Glenmore there are a lot of activities, sailing, biking, high ropes, hiking and climbing.

Don't go to Cornwall
I live there
Every year it gets busier and busier and the roads can't take it
There's constant traffic jams, accidents, and bad tempers.
A 20 minute journey will take about 90 minuted and I'm not exaggerating!

Sorry posted too soon
Cornwall is beautiful. It was even more beautiful before thousands of tourists descended upon it every holiday.
The best time to go would be put if season when traffic is 'normal' and you can enjoy your surroundings more.
Try to avoid school holiday times if at all possible.
I love where I live and gladly welcome visitors to the area but tbh when it's in droves and relentless for weeks on end...it stops everyone being able to enjoy it. You literally can't move and go anywhere

My DC are younger so I'm not able to recommend anything but would you mind telling us where you stayed please? Your holiday sounds great!
