Beaches like in North Norfolk

I'm thinking about next year's summer holiday, which will likely be a cottage break in the UK with a 5 year old and a toddler.

We've had a couple of great holidays in North Norfolk. The beaches are just perfect for young children - sandy, shallow and calm water, and importantly pools and streams on the beach when the tide goes out! Is there anywhere else in the UK that has beaches like this? Obviously with young kids it needs to have toilets and reasonable access too.

Northumberland has lovely beaches but it will cooler. Look around Caister / Seahouses. There are some good NT trust places around there too.

North Antrim coast - Portstewart, Portrush and the Giant's Causeway. Fabulous beaches which are the best in the British Isles IMO.

Echo Northumberland for amazing beaches. Pretty much all the good ones have toilets and they are easily accessible. Very safe bathing at most.

Pembrokeshire also has brilliant beaches. Tenby beach is quite similar to some in Norfolk and the town is right by the beach.

Otherwise, north Cornwall (see e.g. Bude, though it's not as shallow there) or Dorset (Swanage).
