I've got loads of little cans of pink gin. Do you think I'd be able to take these into centre stage and reds??

No.

They check handbags.

It's a really skanky thing to do. Drink it in your room and pay in the venues like everybody else has to.

ColinsVeryJolly · 19/08/2018 18:32

They don’t check you as you go in, and to be honest I’ve seen others do it so I don’t see why not so long as you don’t make it obvious.

justaweeone · 19/08/2018 18:32

I'd decant into a water bottle that isn't see through or you can't see the colour of the product 😉

I don’t think you can take them into the camp ‘bar’ or any other facilities. But there’s nothing to stop you drinking them before heading out, or once your back and the kids are in bed. Depends if you’re going with other adults, and what time your DC are likely to go to sleep.

fluffygreenmonsterhoody · 19/08/2018 18:35

Wow, Nixen you seem nice.

Mumshotel · 19/08/2018 18:35

Minehead isn't scummy. Just have a few drinks in the room x

Nixen · 19/08/2018 18:36

Well it is a bit isn’t it? Drink it in your accommodation and then buy a drink in the bar like everyone else. If you can’t afford ‘pink gin’ in the bar then have a lemonade or a water and then have your drinks when you’re back in the room. It’s not rocket science. Sneaking booze into places is something everyone should grow out of when they’re 18.

candlefloozy · 19/08/2018 19:13

@Nixen I never said I couldn't afford it. I just have loads at home. Wasn't sure if they sold pink gin so was purely asking if it would be ok to take them in incase they don't and to get rid of some out of my cupboards.

Also, I didn't say anything about sneaking them in I'd have just put them in a bag. I was just generally asking. Thanks for those of you who have polite answers.

You can drink your own drink in the main arena. I can't remember ever having my bag or buggy searched if that helps ha. Have a good holiday x

@Mumshotel thank you. I'm sure we will
