Where is the Hundred Acre Wood?

10-15 years ago I went to a place which was the Hundred Acre Wood from Winnie the Pooh. It was a field with doors in trees, nothing else, but it was quite magical for the littlies. Very simple.

I can't remember where it was!

Definitely in the SE. Possibly within an attraction, but a very low-key one, I think - definitely not within a big theme park.

Anyone recognise it?

Not sure of the specific attraction you describe but the real hundred acre wood is ashdown forest in East Sussex Smile

The actual hundred acre wood is on Ashdown Forest near Hartrield where AA Milne had a house. The AF visitor centre has a walk leaflet which will get you there. No idea about doors in trees as although I live nearby I have never been to that part of the forest!

Aldenham country park!!! 100 akre wood. Its got a lot more there now. I last went 7 years ago and it was mainly little doors and dens and a play area. But it looks like its more of an attraction noe.

There’s a Winnie the Pooh trail at Aldenham Country Park. Is that it? I’ve not been there since I was a teen looooong ago so I'm just guessing really!

Could it be ten acre wood in Hillingdon?

JellySlice · 17/08/2018 14:45

Aldenham looks like the place! There was definitely less there when I took my nephews.

Thanks GrinGrin

I think I went there in year 2. All I remember was seeing a statue of Winnie the Pooh. I live in the south east. Cannot remember the name of the place Confused

I came on to say Aldenham but see I've been beaten to it (quite a few times)!
