Anyone stayed at Moonfleet Manor in Dorset?

What did you think and is the area around it nice enough to spend 3 nights there without having to travel miles each day??

The area is nice - plenty within 20 miles. Not far from Weymouth, Abbotsbury, Charmouth/Lyme Regis.

I thought it was lovely. Pool could do with an upgrade but the children loved it - good for bad weather as they have a massive room where kids can trampoline or play pingpong or cycle or scooter to their heart's content and parents can sit in the cafe to the side drinking coffee and reading the papers.

Nice balance of child friendly and adult friendly. Have also been to Woolley Grange - seemed posher but also very nice and accessible.

oh and the area is great. Stacks to do and Weymouth beach is great. Lyme is not that far either if your children are old enough for fossil hunting.
