Best family park on Isle of Wight

Hi all, never been to Isle of Wight and thinking of going next year. Need a family park with kids stuff for 8yr old boy. Reading reviews it seems the Park/Parkdean resorts are going downhill a bit? Not fussy on accommodation, we'll stay in static caravans upwards, but no camping. We'll have a car and will travel around so location isn't an issue, although on the beach would be nice. Any suggestions please?

We went to Lower Hyde in Shanklin at Easter and it was lovely. We stayed in a Safari Tent rather than a caravan but it was really nice. The caravans all looked good. The bar/restaurant there was decent. The indoor swimming pool was nice, but small, the outdoor was shut while we were there as it doesn't open till May.

We didn't do the entertainment stuff in the evening as it's not our thing, but the kids enjoyed the arcade (those 2p machines, gave them all a pound a day and they collected tokens for a crappy prize at the end of the holiday)

It was a good base for going out to other places, and not too far from the beach.
