Family holiday with 10 week old

Hi!
We're planning a mini break with our (then) 10week old for end of September
Just a Mon-fri trip in the U.K. - we are thinking Devon, Cornwall or somewhere in Wales.
We obviously want somewhere slightly baby friendly (local village etc) but we like going outdoors for walks and baby is good in the sling of places aren't pram accessible so that's not a problem.
does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for areas to look at or completely avoid?
:)

With a 10 week old I would wait and see how you feel closer to the time and book something last minute. It's out of school holiday season so it should be fine.

Your baby must only be a few days old at the moment? They change a lot in the space of a few weeks.

We booked to go abroad when our baby was six weeks the day she was born. It was great, we just relaxed and kept her inside obviously but she took it in her stride and we had a great time.

Book somewhere like a holiday cottage maybe and then you are not all stuck in one hotel room if the baby won’t sleep etc.

Where do you live? Our DS hated travelling by car at that age, so I'd avoid anywhere more than a few hours away.

We live in Hampshire
Our boy is 3weeks old at the mo (so will be 11 weeks when we go away) and is absolutely fine in the car. Of course we will stop regularly for breaks as needed but we don't see the travelling as an issue

I'd say St Davids then. There are lots of holiday homes there and stunning beaches.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs nearby. There's a walkers bus too.

At 10 weeks book where you want to be.
Most places are fairly pram / buggy friendly (Thanks to disabled access rights). Baby isn't going to care or use any facilities other than a pool maybe.

We went to Lyme Regis in Dorset when DS2 was 4 months old. It was great! Lovely place, easy to get to, lots to see and do, and plenty of holiday cottages, etc.

We went to Pembrokeshire when my DD2 was 10 weeks (also had a 19 month old). We had a lovely time, it was October so not warm but we had walks along the coast etc.

Oh and it was 4 hours away but we stopped lots and also had an overnight stay in Bristol (half way) on the way down.

We went away just after the six week check and it was lovely. We didn’t do full day activities though; lots of nap time so maybe somewhere where you can walk or short drive to a place of interest.
You do need a way to wash clothes too. Not so baby/you can wear them again ok holiday but so they won’t get nasty before you get back.

Thanks everyone
We're staying Looe for 5 days in a small holiday resort (self catering). All the essentials we need in our home-from-home, plenty of pram friendly places for us to visit during the days and plenty of options for going out or staying in for the evenings :)
