Scottish self catering on the beach

I’m for a holiday property for family of 4 with easy access to the beach - we’re flexible on location, although Highlands & Islands a bit too far so needs to be further South than that. Fife would be ideal as love the East Neuk.

Has anyone stayed somewhere which fits the bill?

Sauchope Links Park at Fife is an incredibly good option for families.
Harvest Moon is idyllic www.harvestmoonholidays.com
Tralee Bay is not far from Oban, there's a range of accommodation options from caravans to luxury lodges, and facilities include a zipwire, playpark and BBQ area which overlooks the sea. The surrounding area has fantastic coastlines to explore, lovely forest walks and nearby islands, perfect for day trips. www.traleebay.co.uk
The Loft, Moray is good for energetic families theloft.co.uk/accommodation/

Elie in the East Neuk is what you want. Beautiful beach, water sports centre, tennis and child friendly golf, restaurants, chip van comes three nights a week, close to St Andrews and Dundee for days out. Likely to be booked out for the Summer though and very busy. Easter is the best time, or after Scottish schools go back at the end of summer, last week in August.

Yes yes yes to Elie, it’s great! Try Elielet.com, they have availability for August. Come back if you see any you fancy and I’ll tell you more (I don’t work for them, just know the village and the beaches very well!)

We stayed at Harvest Moon last month, it was beautiful.

Definitely Try Elie Lettings, give them a call and they will talk you through the houses they have available. Best letting agency ever, they live in the village themselves.

Thanks they all look fab, Thank you for the suggestions, i think Elie sounds ideal. Not looking to go until later in the year so hopefully availability shouldn’t be a problem.

FYI Elie has a bit of a reputation (rightly or wrongly) for being a bit of a ghost town over the winter so if you are going after October you might want to reconsider.
