A morning alone in Bournemouth area

Friday night I'll be in a hotel near Bournemouth beach, and on Saturday I need to be in Christchurch at 3pm. How shall I spend Saturday morning and lunchtime?

I had thought to visit Corfe Castle, but it looks like an hour drive each way, so I don't think I'd have long enough there.

I've been to Brownsea Island before and, while it is lovely, I don't fancy going on my own.

So where would you suggest I go?

There is lots to do in Bournemouth. Paddle, walk into town, go to a restaurant for lunch (there's a good TGI there and a whole building full of restaurants), take the land train for a trip if its running. Can I come?

A morning stroll through the Lower Gardens in Bournemouth. Coffee in the seafront somewhere (Aruba). Then head to Christchurch Quay for a bit of lunch at The Boathouse.

I ended up going to the Russell-Cotes Museum. What a bonkers house! Highly recommend it
