Child friendly hotel where single parent will feel comfortable for summer hols in the uk

Id like to take my 7 year old dd away for a few days in the summer hols. May even do a few days in one week then another . We live in London so not too far but should be near a beach . Looking for somewhere geared up for kids and with kids activities so I’ll not feel too isolated on my own with dd as there’ll be other adults around at least some of the time hopefully .
Any ideas ?
