Last year I won some tickets for London Zoo, via MN. And more recently I followed a MN link for a free 3 month family railcard.

So this weekend we are off to London and making use of both. I have booked the train tickets for the three of us, coming in at a reduced price of £83, to go down on Saturday morning, coming back Sunday evening.

Have just booked a cheap Ibis hotel in the Docklands for the Saturday night. Just £70 for the night for us all.

And on Sunday we shall go to London Zoo free of charge.

Now sure what we will do on Saturday yesterday. Probably have a mooch round town mainly. DD wants to go and see the queen, lol!

Let's hope for good weather now.

And thank you to MN for the zoo tickets, and to MNetters for the railcard link

Go and see my mum. She's just off Oxford Street, opposite Selfridges

Other things:

boat trip (there's one that goes on land and water)

earlgrey - we have done the Duck tour bus before. It is really good if you haven't tried it. DD enjoyed it.

DD has also requested a trip to Hamleys. At least that can't cost me too much -- on train, so can't carry much!
