Best place to base ourselves for mini 3 night break in cornwall?

I am going with friend who is mad on Poldark , she's Canadian and loves all things english .
I'm looking at air bnb but not sure where to base ourselves ?

I'd recommend Padstow, it's in a good location for getting around, and has lots of nice restaurants so a nice place to just hang out too :)

if you are driving at all then make absolutely certain that anywhere you book to stay has a guaranteed parking place. biggest problem in Cornish fishing villages.
