Left it really late - need half term holiday break ideas for ds1 and ds2 (5 and 3) and a stressed mum!

DH is away with work in the US for half term and I feel I should do something special with the kids (and to stop myself going crazy!). Trouble is I can't find any accommodation at a reasonable price! Anyone got any ideas for a short break about an hour from Berkshire? I thought about the New Forest.......either in a caravan or cottage?

What's a reasonable price and when is your half-term?

Half term is 26th May - 1st June. Budget would be around £150 for a couple of nights. Don't think I could manage a whole week away and DH is back on Saturday 2nd June (for 48 hours) before flying off again for another 5 days away.
