Place to stay near Holyhead

Hi, I'm going to travel by ferry from Holyhead in July. We want to break the journey up by staying one night in Wales near or near-ish the Holyhead. Can anyone recommend a nice spot? Ideally by the sea. And if anyone can recommend an actual place to stay- hotel, B&B, airbnb etc too that would be amazing!

Trearrdur Bay Hotel.

Thanks Scooby. It looks lovely but it's coming up at £199 for one night in a family room, and unfortunately we need to aim for lower cost. But it looks like a lovely spot.

Just bumping to see if anyone has any other ideas? Doesn't have to be really close to Holyhead- happy for it to be an hours drive away or so. Just would like it to be a nice (and inexpensive) stopover! Smile

Caernarfon is an hour from Holyhead. You have the Premier inn, Royal Celtic Hotel, Black Boy Inn.

My friend runs a beautiful air bnb about 30 minutes from Holyhead in snowdonia. It's called bryn hall. It's stunning - up in the mountains with views across Anglesey. A lot cheaper than treaddur bay hotel too! I can't link but a quick Google will find it

Thanks windybee and welshgirlwannabe! Great suggestions.
