Does anyone have any recommendations of nice places (caravan park or a cottage) to go with a 6 year old boy.

Came on last year and someone recommended warmwell park resorts and we stayed in a lodge there which was nice 👍

If I were you I'd send off for a Hoseasons brochure, I find a brochure easier to browse than a website. We've been to a few Hoseasons parks and stayed on lodges and static caravans and find it works well with a child that age. You've got your own space and can go at your own timetable. We'd go for one with a swimming pool, playpark etc and a couple of good days out nearby. We've been to one near Battle, Sussex, one in the New Forest, Piperdam near Dundee, one East Lothian, two different parks near Scarborough. Got my eye on Ribby Hall next.

Most haven parks are pretty good 🙂

Look at Hoburne - 7 parks in south of England - kids that age love Sammy the seahorse
