Places to go in Dorset

We are off to stay at the holiday park in West Bay on Monday with our £9.50 Sun holiday!

Am foreseeing that the weather is not going to be great so DS (who is almost 5) wish to spend every day on the beach probably wont be possible.

Has anyone got any suggestions of places to go/visit?

Have got details on the Cricket St Thomas wildlife place.
Have seen stuff on tourist board website which is very slow but would like recommendations from people who have actually been there?

Any good family friendly places to eat would be good as well.

Many thanks!
Hazel

Monkey World is good which I think is that kind of way and Adventure Wonderland which is opposite Bournemouth Airport.

Abbotsbury Swannery and Childrens farm, Charmouth, Lyme Regis, Seaworld at Weymouth, Lovely restaurant on the beach at Burton Bradstock.

We stayed at Highlands End in West Bay 2 years ago and had a gorgeous time.

Have fun!

I went to Seaworld in Weymouth in March, cost about £35 for three of us to get in and was really disappointed.

The tank museum is in Wareham.

I love monkey world

Farmer palmer's near Poole is nice for little ones. I'll see if I can find some links.
