i am going in July.....actually partially dreading the shows-any good??

The shows were great, DD loved them

Have just booked through the sun for a cheapy weekend break, read lot`s of bad reviews about the accommodation so now dreading the thought of a flea ridden , pee infested hole! oh well guess I better take me bag of cleaning kit with me! and hope for the best, anyone who would like to make me feel a whole lot better about the place or a whole lot worse please send your comments. We had gold accomadation so no problems here.

Don't think standard is that bad but you get what you pay for I suppose

I'm going in July - we had such a fab time last year we booked again!

Last year we were in a standard apartment (ie slumming it!) which was basic but ok - only the shower room was offputting...

This year we are in Silver plus, so I am wondering how much of a difference there will be...

Hello, I havent a clue where we are staying just saw a bargin 15pounds per person for 3 nights for a family of 4 so went for it. I guess we will be slumming it.ha oh well though saying that... Been on a review website and as long as its clean and liveable I dont mind in the slightest. Just seen some photos of one bedroom with stained mattresses and urine. Crikey this must be a one off!! oh well least it s only 60 not 700 quid i`m spending!!

Glad you enjoyed enough to book again! DD loved the Bobs Yard more this time, had to drag her off the teacups!

nuttymum - I don't think you will have a stained mattress - they were all plastic coated last year! A bit sweaty to sleep on, but they are stain free!

Had a great time, came back yesterday, paid for a cheapy and got a free upgrade to Gold apartment!!! why I don`t know, but cheers Butlins!Ah maybe they thought we would come back !!
There was so much to do , very cheesy but well worth it, loved the pool and funfair.
might go again next year as the kids thought it was the best thing they had ever done!!
