Can't help, I return from my holiday on Fri, so can't pass on any tips on time.
I was advised on another thread to take some milton fluid and give worktops, sinks and plates etc a good clean before we use anything.

we have a caravan at a nearby site, we walked through Presthaven the other week to have a nose!!

Not our cup of tea as we prefer somewhere quiet, but great for the kids with rides and pool etc

If you go to Rhyl, go a little further past all the arcades and further up and on your right is a lovely park, really different, its fab, never seen one like it before and its all new! well worth a vist, mine love it

are you planning to stay on site or go out for days out?

annibear - are you on the pontins site? is the haven or pontins site better? have got a deal - same price for either, except free ent passes at pontins.
