Somewhere that's close to a town for work as I'm a nursery worker.

Somewhere that's safe/ nice for children as we plan on having a baba.

Currently live in the Suffolk area so not Suffolk.

There are plenty of nurseries in villages too!

Villages where? I mean areas bus-able or walkable or even train if need be. Just need a lovely fresh start

I think you maybe need to be a bit more specific. Do you like urban or rural? Near the coast? Historic or modern? Are there any places you've visited that you've liked, and why did you like them?

We both love Cambridge as it has got beautiful scenery but also urban. (Bit pricey though)

Sorry if I haven't been very specific, only travelled through the east and south of England. X

Well, I live in a village in West Yorkshire that has a nursery, and buses to the nearest towns -3 towns within about 30 mins (Barnsley, Wakefield and Huddersfield). The next village up the road also has a nursery, buses and a train station. Several other villages have a nursery.

If you want to live in a town that’s fine, but don’t completely dismiss the countryside because it doesn’t have nurseries - we do - I even know of 2 on farms.

Are you open to suggestions of anywhere in the UK? Scotland etc?

What things do you like to do in your spare time? Do you want to be able to travel back to Suffolk easily by car or train? What's your budget for rent/mortgage?

There are so many lovely places to live in the UK.

I found Suffolk difficult when I was sahm to a tiny as I spent a lot of time in the car. A larger town was much easier; Norwich/ Bath / Lewes/ York/ South Coast and then move further into country(( still on bus routes) when children settled in school .

I totally agree about the village and country side, but my boyfriend is a recruitment consultant and doesn't have a car at the moment so will need to be near a town for recruitment purposes.

-a nursery on a farm sounds lovely!

Also living in Scotland is something we could consider

We want to rent to start with but defiantly want to buy or do the rent to buy scheme in the future!

Plire- we don't have any babies yet haha I wish! One day though :)

Timescale we plan on moving once we have enough saving so no big rush yet.

I grew up in Suffolk, but also liven in Wales as a baby. We've both lived in Suffolk and Essex all our lives really and just want a new place to be and new faces to see.

I live in Bristol, and I think it's the beat city 🌃

Also love Edinburgh

£750 rent is something we would like to pay monthly for a two bedroom flat or house if possible.

Edinburgh is probably a bit too expensive as have looked in the past

Ok. Well I'd steer clear of south east. Just due to prices and cost of living. (I live here!)

I'd look at market towns outside of big cities.

Moving tends to be expensive and stressful so personally I'd want to look ahead to schools and life with children.

Problem with Dorset is there are not many jobs in the rural areas. Maybe look at somewhere like Wimbourne where your DH could commute into Bournemouth.

Dorchester is lovely and has good schools though.
