Is there an easy way to search for hotels with 2 bedroom suites/ aparthotels?

I want to go away in the UK 2/3 nights this week. I don't really want to get a self catering cottage as I want to feel like I've had a break .. ideally I want a pool for ds, a spa for me and near the coast but I am happy to forego pool and spa if the place is nice and this is the important bit.., I want ds to have a separate room which is linked to ours rather than sharing a room.

I've drawn a blank. I spent ages looking for a similar thing last year and eventually found a nice place in the new forest but don't want to go back again

I also don't really want to spend a small fortune...
Surely most families want this? Where do I find it?

Thanks

I always look on bookings.com or hotels.com and book either two rooms or an apartment. There is a site called connectingrooms.

Some premier inn have connecting rooms, you just call the one you want and ask.

Would a 1 bed suite work for you? We nearly always do this although DD in her travel cot usually ends up occuping the master whilst DH and I take the sofa bed in the ‘living room’. Suits us fine though as we can order room service, eat at the dining table, watch tv, hit up the mini bar etc. whilst she sleeps. Almost every hotel has a 1 bed suite too, unless it’s a small place or B&B, so it shouldn’t be hard to find somewhere that ticks your spa/pool/beach criteria. I often use booking.com and if I find somewhere I like the look of, click on the hotel, scroll down and it will show you all available room types, including suites.

I feel your pain. We've looked for this for 4 years and always end up self catering. We just eat out lots!!

same here blankie. you can find self catering cottages with pools and spas as well. you can also find hotels that have cottages in their grounds giving you the best of both worlds.

tripadvisor has forums for larger towns/tourist areas and you can search on this subject or maybe just google it.
