Seaside by train from Bristol

I don't have a car, but would like to take the DC (9 and 11) away to the seaside for a few days in the summer.

They have experienced Weston-Super-Mud on school trips, and in previous years we have done Weymouth for a few days and Exmouth for a day trip.

Any suggestions that I might not have thought of?

Tenby? Change at Cardiff and the train goes straight through to Tenby.

Dawlish, dawlish Warren, paignton or teignmouth. Lovely journey- change at Exeter

Train to Swansea, bus to Gower. :)
Dawlish is also lovely and in the summer months I think you can go direct, without changing.
