Depends how near is near, but I have stayed in a converted stable for the last 2 years quite happily. Only thing that put us off this year was last years' weather. www.ffynnonofi.co.uk/ Its in Pembrokeshire, about an hour from Aberystwyth according to multimap.

only a few miles from Aber.

Not a huge commercialised park - very small, family-run, has won awards for environmental landscaping. Chalets in particular are lovely. Very reasonable prices.
