Hi we are going to a wedding in Lancashire end of April and would like to do a stopover on the way back to Kent. Somewhere off the M40 around Warwick/Leamington Spa area. Any suggestions for somewhere nice, within walking distance of shops/pub etc. Tia. x

Castle Limes in the centre of warwicj is surprisingly nice according to friends. Can walk to the castle in five minutes and the park and leisure centre in the same time. Lots of restos and shops nearby too.
Otherwise in the centre of Leamington on the Parade there is a chain hotel- maybe Premier Inn?

Hotels wise Warwick has a few, but the Hilton and holiday inn are by the M40 and a fair walk from town.

Warwick is tiny. Great food, limited shopping though!!

There's a premier inn (I think?) on the parade in Leamington. I'd go for that. Central, and reasonable, obvs.

Look at Ardencote Manor it has some
Cracking deals especially on a Sunday night. Great spa too.
Also loads in Stratford and ones just on the edge like the Welcome can be reasonable.
Chesford Grange and Nuthurst Grange also nice.
