Hi everyone. This easter we are not able to travel outside uk. But still trying to keep my two little ones (3ys and 5yrs) entertained . We are thinking of renting a cottage in Cornwall. Is Cornwall a good choice for Easter ? Any recommend cottage ? Anyone have any idea of other places to travel ? Many thanks

its a great choice but you may have left it way too late to find anything to suit as school holidays book up stupidly early due to the Gove effect. have a look at lastminute-cottages website and also the tourist board site called visitcornwall and you will hopefully find something there. you will be tied into a full week and not a short break though if you go for self catering.

The Isle of Wight. There is sooo much to do with young children and some great places to stay.

Yup. Come over to the Isle of Wight! mega child friendly lots of fab seaside pottering stuff and loads of rainy day things too!! We have been ever since our kids were teeny and still love it. Less of a schlep than Cornwall. Sorry for plug, but do google "Classic Cottages 4044 The Haven" .......11-15 April is available as a 4 day break.

Why not experience the beautiful Roseland peninsula. In fact more specifically why not stay at our lovely child friendly lodge in Portscatho nr St Mawes. Stunning beaches, gorgeous food and we have equipped our 'Gold Award' winning lodge with loads of toys, baby carrier, buggy as well as a heated indoor pool on site. Search 'Coast Lodge Portscatho holidays'. It really is a magical place!

@Tinkobell if we had any spare money I'd be booking that right now, absolutely stunning house!

@RedPandaMama based on 4 sharing over 4 nights it's c£39 p.p /night. TBH I think you will struggle in Cornwall or many places to get less over Easter. You could try B&B's .....Weymouth is a very nice place to go and lots of lovely B&Bs there.....Jurassic coast etc. Good luck!
You could also try Old Mill Holiday park also IOW st Helens and see if they've any 4 birth short break caravans left.....that's a lovely spot! Good lucK
