Or in the vicinity? Want to visit the castle and legoland. Looking to spend £100-£120 per night for two adults and one 8 month old. Any suggestions gratefully received. Have been searching the web and just don't know where to start! TIA

We stayed here last summer for one night to go to Legoland and it was ideal. Really nice rooms, good food, and once ds was asleep we could go to the bar and have a leisurely drink as the baby monitor could pick up our room no problem.

Landlord and landlady are really nice too!

We stayed in the Adelaide/Royal Adelaide which looked a bit like the prince Albert. it was fine, but it was 5 years ago... They did a deal including tickets to Legoland. My top tip is buy a picnic from MandS to eat while watching an outdoor show.

second the Adelaide. It's really low-key and friendly and in a lovely residential street v near the Long Walk.
