Can anyone recommend a cottage or similar in North Devon

We’re looking for a cottage or possibly caravan or even an apartment for a short break in this area and despite having stayed in many cottages over the years I’m not finding anything that takes my fancy in this area.

We like to be within walking distance of the beach and a pub or chip shop. Two bedrooms or more. Prefer two bathrooms but not a deal breaker. And preferably not one that accepts dogs. Oh and parking.

Anyone been anywhere that they’d recommend?

Westward Living is a set of 14 Cottages (many of which have a hot tub) on a farm just outside a large village. Dogs are only welcome in three of the cottages. Guests can get involved on the farm. Massages and beauty treatments can be arranged at your property. The same applied for a private chef! There's a play barn with table football, pool etc... and outdoor play area for kids and an indoor swimming pool. It takes 20-25mins to walk to the beach. The Pig on the Hill is a walkable gastropub and The Pier House is a walkable bistro with clifftop views.

Had you thought about Bude? just inside cornwall but lots of accommodation to choose from and lots of places to eat out as well.
