Cheap week for 2 adults plus 22 year old going on 17 and dog

We need a week somewhere in the South to chill out It does not have to be in the school hols May/June would be fine. Must accept a small dog

So 3 adults? And the South of what?

I was thinking of South Devon near Exeter .Would prefer inland/country rather than coast

cornwall is very dog friendly. visit cornwall have a brochure called dogs love cornwall and its useful for finding accommodation as well as beaches and places to visit.
