Easter break - where to go with good weatherproof day out options?

We're going to take a week off at Easter to go away in the caravan, but not sure where to go - with the weather being unpredictable in March, I want somewhere where we can have a few big days out that are doable even if it's cold or raining a bit. DC are 7,10. Last year, we went to the outskirts of Oxford (and got lots of great advice here), so we went to Oxford city centre, Bletchley etc. Year before we went to Devon but that's more geared to summer I think and there was less to do.

Don't want to head further north than say Sheffield (we're in SW). Any good ideas?

I'd recommend staying as near to Woking as you can. Hoe Farm perhaps? Then you'd have all of these days out within 20mins drive.

Indoor:
WWF's Living Planet Centre in Woking
Mercedes-Benz World (fantastic interactive museum/experience for all ages indoors)
RHS Gardens Wisley (has a Glasshouse the size of 10 tennis courts where you can shelter if it rains), runs holiday activities for kids including crafts
Brooklands Motor Museum - lots to see and do for all ages and not just for petrol heads! Mostly indoors.
Ice skating rink at Guildford (it takes about 15-20 mins to get to Guildford)
Indoor go karting (on two tiers) at TeamSport in Farnborough
Craggy Island Climbing Centre in Guildford

Outdoor:
Thorpe Park in 20mins
Wild Wood Adventure just outside of Guildford
Mizens Railway
