Longleat Centre Parc... what is there for a 5 month old to do??

Just looking for other people's experiences of taking an under 6 month old to centre parc...

Basically it's already been booked to go away with in-laws without me being asked first (we have to pay for our share). My nephews will be 2 and 5.5 so I get that there's probably loads for them to do there. DH and I have recently had our first child who will be just under 6 months by the time we go, I get that there's a swimming pool for babies but other than that what is there to do there?? I guess I'm just a by worried that this will turn into 5 days of watching our nephews do activities whilst we have nothing to do ourselves...

Do you pay extra to go swimming there thinking about it?! Advise please! 😊

Included as are all soft plays etc which are in most restaurants . Also there at parks, lakes to feed ducks etc

5 month olds don’t really need anything to ‘do’. Walks with pram or sling, watching cousins, swimming. Maybe your relatives could take turns to look after the baby while you do some other things. Hopefully that’s wha they’re planning.

I have a five month old. His hobbies include shouting, trying to eat stuff he isn’t allowed and rolling about. If I take him anywhere, he only really needs a safe place to sit/roll round and somewhere to nap.

He doesn’t need to feed so frequently anymore, so this means you can pass the baby over to your in-laws, and go and spend some time doing something nice for yourself :) (that doesn’t include watching other people’s children do anything).

I took my DD to centreparcs when she was 5 months and put her in the crèche for a few hours so that I could have a massage

Just to clarify I wasn't expecting there to be specific activities for a 5 month old as you all point out they're not exactly at an age to engage in structured activity (as I type this DS has just farted himself awake and then nodded off again... that's about as active as he gets at he moment!!) 😂😂 Really helpful to know about swimming and play parks being included. It's going to be cold when we go so probably won't spend too long outside walking but will dig a snowsuit out for him!
