We love the Isle of Wight and keep going back. There's so much to do and we've stayed in different parts of the island depending on what we want to see and do.
In the Newport area, I'd definitely recommend www.kidsloveyurts.co.uk/en-GB/homepage
We also really enjoyed ourselves at tomsecolodge.com on Tapnell Farm
In the Ventnor area, we found a gem in nettlecombefarm.co.uk/farm/26/Nettlecombe_Farm.php
We use this website to help us find things to do www.dayoutwiththekids.co.uk/things-to-do/south-east-and-london/isle-of-wight

When are you thinking of going? There are heaps of seasonal events that i could recommend.

That farm place looks ideal! Thanks so much.

We hope to go over in the summer holidays. I'd love to know where you like to visit? X

We stayed in an Airbnb in Newport, which was just fab, we've got 2 DS aged 2 & 6, sooo many places to visit, it's a brilliant family holiday destination. Enjoy!

Tapnell Farm is brilliant, can thoroughly recommend it. Also Wightcliff Bay holiday park the other side of the Island is very family friendly and has a beautiful beach.

This annual powerboat race is great fun to watch. www.visitisleofwight.co.uk/whats-on/cowes-classic-cowes-torquay-cowes-powerboat-race-p1242551

The Needles Landmark Attraction at Alum Bay is a chairlift ride with excellent views. Well worth it if you're not afraid of heights.

The children especially enjoyed Blackgang Chine www.visitisleofwight.co.uk/things-to-do/blackgang-chine-p139681 and Robin Hill Adventure Park www.dayoutwiththekids.co.uk/robin-hill-country-adventure-park

Best for animal lovers is Amazon world, which we found far more interesting than the zoo.

My DS went though a phase when he was mad about trains, so we went on the steam railway and visited Fort Victoria model railway which the whole family ended up enjoying. www.dayoutwiththekids.co.uk/fort-victoria-model-railway. Godsill model village also captivated his attention www.dayoutwiththekids.co.uk/godshill-model-village

Dinosaur Isle is another recommendation www.visitisleofwight.co.uk/things-to-do/dinosaur-isle-p143561 especially if it's rainy!

www.dayoutwiththekids.co.uk/goodleaf-tree-climbing Fun for older adventurous kids.

We've enjoyed exploring Ventnor Botanic Garden. There's a tropical house, a playground, children's trail and a couple of nice cafes.
