Centre Parcs - have jsu booked our 1st w/end there - tell me I've done the right thing!

Please! We wanted a short break - me, DP & Ds who will be 22 mths. We never been and tbh DP & I had far more adventurous holidays in the days pre-DS. But could now just do with something easy with no travelling. It won't be too Butlinsy will it?

we've been to Whinfell twice and its lovely..i dont think it is that expensice once you are there..eat one or two meals in your lodge and maybe lunch or dinner out, is normal resteraunt/bistro/pub pprices, try the lodge inn, nice 'pub' meals, the american one(cant ever remeber name, jsut as you go in from lake on right hand side)is lovely and very child friendly, TBh they all are. Chez pierre was gorgeous for breakfast baguettes(but soft play was a bit manky?), then soft play in sportz plaza and lodge inn were fab!

the different fudge in sweety shop is heaven.the pools are fantastic(and the ony thing thats free!), book and classes/treatments before you go or the minute you get there, cos they are ALWAYS fully booked.
were abouts are you staying?, we were at lake beck last time, right next to lake and in the woodland view first time, we found the further out you are the more you enjoy the scenery around you, if you are close like we were last time you tend to just go into the centre??..have fun..im dead jelous!

oh and dd wasnt quite 2 the first time we went, you can hire buggys there and trailers for back of bikes!..can you tell i lurve it!

our first lodge was executive villa, not mega trendy but very inkeeping with surroundings, all you need and very comfortable(big jaccuzi bath and shower in downstairs bathroom(so make sure you get downstairs room if going with friends
