Short break with teens next week - any ideas?

Looking to get away with the DD15 and DS13 and DH for a couple of nights in the UK next week - we are Midlands and don't really want to travel more than 3 hours. Can pay for mid-price accommodation and splurge a bit whilst there doing activities, eating out etc.

We tend to like something outdoors but also enjoy indoor stuff too. Have done GoApe, kayaking, walking etc before, and have done CP to death!

Any ideas for something a bit different, or just a nice place to go. TIA

I think you'd definitely enjoy staying at Forest Holiday's Fort of Dean park. There are several types of cabin to choose from (although I don't know how much choice they'll be this close to half term). The Copper Beach 2 and 3 bedroom cabins are the value cabins. they're still very comfortable, but just don't have the hot tub!

We do big day trips as once accommodations involved the cost rockets up

Hired a big car for the day 0800-9pm £60 cheaper are available

Went to Giants Causeway ( Free if you know how)
Some castle with a cave under it very unusual

Titanic Museum, Go after 4PM as its only £9
McHughs in Belfast for a meal then back to the airport about £15 each but was excellent.
It was a top day out met loads of very friendly helpful locals, its lovely place we never thought of visiting, can't wait to go back.

Christmas market if you can get flights cheap?
Liverpool is cheap and has lots going on, load of history and is a top night out
