Can anyone recommend a lovely secluded, detached holiday home for next summer in this area? We want 3 bedrooms, off-road, 'flattish' cycling from front door (I'm not great with steep hills but can cycle up to 20 miles a day) and easy access to hire a canoe/kayaks - though off road cycling is more important than boating.
I think we'd prefer the east side of the region but I'm not at all familiar with the area. If you've had a great holiday there or live in that area, then all suggestions welcome. Ideally we'd like no other properties too nearby, as we want peace and quiet.
