I was going to suggest Balbeg , we stayed there last Spring for FIL's 60th in the big cabin, loved it and the kids loved the woods and park.

Anyway what sort of thing are you looking for? for how many people? Specific facilities?

ten of us. df is 69, dd is 4! and all ages in between
self catering as part of the fun has always been cooking and eating together.
bllbeg is lovely. but i dont want to stay in the same place twwice!

we love the eleraig Highland lodges, just outside oban. We are going again with the dcs this year. the lodges only accomodate 6-8 but the prices are really good, so you could get two lodges next to each other. they have their own private loch and have the great benefit of being out in the sticks but only a couple of miles from a good sized town.

hold in I will attempt a link

cottages4you have 57 properties in Scotland for 10+. You didn't say when you want to go though so I've no idea if any are available

We stayed in one of the cottages at Dunmore near Tarbert once - I don't think any of them sleeps 10 but you could maybe get 2 of them?

Oh, that website has some big houses too - here

Better page for Dunmore - it was a great place for children, with swings and a slide and a big garden, and there were lots of empty beaches locally.
