A nice village near Maidstone

Anyone know anywhere pretty where we could spend a night not more than half an hour from Maidstone?

Going to meet friend and her two kids so four of us.

What sort of accommodation do you need? Leeds/Bearsted are nice and have larger hotels as well as b&b.

Thank you . I looked those places up and they do look pretty but can't find any accommodation for less than £200 per night for the four of us and nothing in those actual places just nearby. Hmmm any other ideas? I'd be very grateful as I don't have a clue!

It's tricky as there are so many options. I'd suggest airbnb as you'll find somewhere with 2 beds for much less than 200pn.

Maybe look at Charing, lenham, headcorn, marden, Egerton, tenterden, cranbrook, and see what suits.
