Wales or Norfolk in October?

Hi All
Considering a week away Mon-Fri in the first week of October.
Would anyone recommend Wales or Norfolk? Travelling from NE England so travel time will roughly be the same, just wondering about things to do, what will be open etc. Just the two of us, no kiddies just yet. Thanks! x

Depends on how important weather is to you.
Wales has the wilder, more dramatic scenery and autumn can be very striking. It also has a broader range of outdoor activities. Porthmadog or Dolgellau are good bases in the North, Abergavenny in the borders , Gower or St Davids in the West . There's nowhere better when the sun shines.
The weather is drier and more dependable on the East coast ....
