Anywhere really but preferably not too far from the main cities, for 9-10 people so 4ish bedrooms, and the main thing we want is a mahoossive enclosed safe garden with patio chairs/benches so the kids can be let loose to run around while the grownups sit watching benignly with large glasses of vino in hand.

When are you coming OP? If it is soon you are unlikely to spending a lot of time sitting in a garden unless we have a surprise heatwave. Where in Scotland do you want to go? It is a big place.

I see you have said anywhere -sorry. I am guessing somewhere between Glasgow and Edinburgh? Nice places to start might be Stirling/Bridge of Allan/Dunblane. Or Loch Lomond way. Or south of Edinburgh in North Berwick and places around there?

Thanks, I don't mind location and probably next Easter, but it's the perfect property I'm looking for –has anyone stayed in one with these specifications? The big enclosed garden is absolutely no1 on the list Smile

Anyone? North of England would do as well! ☺

Easter is at the end of March. it could be snowing or raining then so not sure how much you are going to get out of a big garden unless you like huddling outside under umbrellas in full water proofs!!

have a look at bigholidayhouse and groupaccommodation websites. both offer large properties. but you do need also to have a look at accuweather and put in the place because being realistic about the weather at this time of year might mean you look for something a bit different than you had planned.

This ticks all your boxes and has a games lodge in case it is wet outside!
