I'm going to a campsite near Exeter during the summer holidays. Can anyone suggest activities for teens. We like to a mixture of site-seeing, and more active things. Where can we go and what can we visit, or do?

Diggerland is surprising good, for kids of all ages. (Adults too.)
Also they might enjoy Go-Ape at Haldon, just south west of Exeter.
On a rainy day there is the underground passages in Exeter. And Paignton Zoo is a good day out, too.

Sports: Mountain biking at Haldon, kayaking or SUPs at Exeter Quay or Exmouth, or kite boarding at exmouth. Horse riding (Budleigh riding school etc).

Arts : RAMM, exeter Phoenix, northcott theatre.

Exeter has a couple of those "get shut in a room and have to solve clues to get out" things too.

What sort of stuff do they like??

There was a Segway place in Exeter , assume it's still there
Pony trekking

They fairly sporty. Dc 17 would like the mountain biking, kite boarding sounds good also.

Dc 15 would like the climbing.

We've been to a different Diggerland. They are surprising good fun for all ages.

Just seen the weather forecast for when we are going. Not pariticularly warm, and showery days.

Wet weather ideas anyone?

Thank you.
