Luxury family break UK

Hello - we've had a stressful few years. Multiple family bereavements including parents and a sibling, financial issues now resolved but years of strain, 4 lovely but v busy kids aged from reception to early teen. No holiday for nearly 6 years and have just been given a small windfall. Want to spend a bit on a proper relaxing break with childcare so we can breathe and indulge ourselves for the first time in years. Also don't want to make an expensive mistake. Thinking of autumn half term (I know...but there we have it) and a UK family friendly spa break for a few days would be ideal. So strung out that flying anywhere seems too much logistical strain. DP been ill with stress/anxiety and want to make this easy - book it, drive there and chill. Any recommendations of places you felt really catered for happy kids and knackered adults wanting to reconnect with each other?

Cameron House Hotel on Loch Lomond. If that's not too far for you.

Center parcs, the spa at the Longleat one is awesome and all ages catered for
Calcot Manor, cotswolds
Have heard Crieff hydro is good
Watergate Bay hotel, Cornwall, older ones can do surfing

Luxury family hotels. All have spas and childcare.

Sands
Fowey Hall
Woolley Grange
Bedruthan Steps

Not all luxury, but I'm pretty sure they all do childcare and children's activities.
